From Q2-2024, quarterly updates of the Volkswagen Group’s wheel alignment specifications will only be possible with a valid licence purchased from Volkswagen.

The new standards apply to retailers worldwide for service Volkswagen, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge, Audi, SEAT, CUPRA, Skoda, Bentley, Lamborghini and Porsche vehicles.

The licence is a physical electronic “dongle” key that must be installed on the wheel aligner using the instructions provided.

VAS 701 001/2, ASE 701 002 B00

Quarterly updates are available as before for download from the Volkswagen ServiceNet. The licence is valid for one year starting from date of activation.

VAS 701 001/2 supports the following wheel aligner models:
• VAS 701 001
• VAS 6331 with OS Windows 7 and higher
• VAS 6421 with OS Windows 7 and higher

Older devices are not supported.
